Summary Drive 2024

On 8 January 2024, the Drivkraft board conference was organized for the first time! This was a successful event with many good discussions around the boardroom! The focus throughout the evening was on learning, development and the driving force behind value-creating board work.

The event was divided into four main themes with a wide range of speakers. We visited Balance between control, risk and development in the boardroom, Technology: Data security and artificial intelligence, Diversity and the Board survey 2023. There was a positive atmosphere throughout the evening, particularly exciting was the commitment and questions asked in the room. 

The evening program looked like this:

"Balance between control, risk and development in the boardroom" with Ingar Bentsen, the factory

Debate: Balance with Anniken Ramse (Seland Rödl), Sven Christian Apenes (OptraRisk) and Katarina Asting (Chairman / Board member). The debate was led by Ida Melbye-Larsen (Aboard).

Technology: Data security and artificial intelligence with Møyfrid Øygard (Admincontrol), Ole Martin Refvik (Admincontrol) and Elin Hauge (Aboard)

Diversity: Inclusion, culture and value creation with Lisa Cooper and Winnifred Johansen

The board survey 2023: with Øistein Grevskott-Larsen (Aboard)

Closing, mingling and book signing: We ended the evening with mingling with Aboard and our partners in addition to a book signing with Winnifred Johansen

Several of our partners were present and participating: AdminControl, OptraRisk, Helmr and the law firm Seland Rödl & Partner 

During the conference, we had the opportunity to meet many competent and committed candidates and interested parties! We find that many people have an interest in our product, personal development and a burning commitment to the boardroom. 

Aboard gets a lot of questions - how can I become relevant and get a board position? Our best tip is then: apply for those positions where YOU feel you can contribute and which suit you, don't just apply for the sake of applying.
